The Last Frontier, still largely unexplored
The Pacific region is a marvel of terrestrial, aquatic and coral reefs with the largest block of intact tropical rainforest in Asia Pacific. Many freshwater and marine species are found nowhere else in the world!
Given the splendour of this region, WWF has been working since 1990 with the governments and peoples of the Pacific on conservation and natural resource management programmes and projects.
