Description
Our goal as Christians is to restore the commands and the spirit of New Testament worship. Our goal is to exalt and adore God through Jesus and in the power of the Holy Spirit. God is the audience when we worship, and we are the participants praising him. We also encourage each other when we assemble. Our worship is usually centered in these areas:
Singing: One of the unique things about our worship is acappella singing. We sing without instruments out of conviction, and not preference. The New Testament leaves instruments out of public worship, and that is how Chistians worshipped for most of the first millennium of Christian history. We have the command to sing (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16). Thus, we believe it is safest to do only what the Lord commands.
Offering: Christians give regularly, liberally and cheerfully, because God is a giving God and we are grateful for his mercies (1 Corinthians 16:1-2; 2 Corinthians 9:6-14). The offering is the joyous obligation of our members. As a visitor you need not feel an obligation to give if you prefer not to do so.
