Rick Beckman has one problem that is a bit more public than any others–he likes to start websites. Timothy’s Burden is another one which shall can now call itself part of Beckman Ministries, joining the likes of the Fellowship Hall Christian Forums and its collaborative research project OpenWord, as well as the personal blogs Watchtower and allusions.
Timothy’s Burden was began to specifically follow in the footsteps of Timothy, obeying the words of the Holy Ghost through Paul, albeit this time in an online environment. This will specifically allow Rick to use his personal blog for all sorts of less meaningful banter while focusing the biblical teaching to this more concentrated blog.
We certainly can’t claim the knowledge that we’re sure Timothy had (having been taught by Paul himself), but we do endeavor to ascertain a level of biblical understanding which deepens with each passing day. We endeavor to share that knowledge, making our “target audience” our fellowservants in Christ.
