"Vanguard Theatre Ensemble is an association of professional theatre artists and specialists dedicated to producing works of literary and theatrical value which speak to the human condition and have ideas, themes and images of significant, contemporary resonance.
"The works are further conditioned by the nature of our playing space and the sensibilities and talents of our Ensemble. Our primary mission is empowerment of the artist in regard to the growth and vision of the theatre, while challenging our Ensemble and our audience to redefine theater's artistic boundaries."
VTE takes its name from the body of artists who are committed to Vanguard's goals. This group includes actors, directors, producers, designers, technicians and managers whose talents provide the energy to keep VTE going.
