As the quality of company websites continues to improve, traditional sources of information, such as hard copy brochures and CD-ROM information systems, are becoming redundant. In particular, the technical content of product supplier websites has improved significantly over the last year or so.
This site has been established to provide professionals working in the building and construction sectors with a reliable means of accessing product information, technical data and other information on the Web.
The site allows suppliers to enter and periodically update their own links and company information. A relational database is used to enable suppliers to register through a password-protected interface and create and maintain a profile in the database describing both their products and services and the regions of the world in which they operate.
