- "Vinprom" PLC, Veliko Turnovo was established in 1947 as a branch of the National Alcohol Monopoly. For the period 1959-1974 the company has been run by Vinprom State Economic Enterprise, Lyaskovets. In 1974 a production unit for sweet alcoholic beverages was open in the territory of Veliko Turnovo, Dalga Laka industrial zone. In 1987 a production unit for vinegar was put into operation on the site of the company. At the end of the year of 1991 Vinprom Veliko Turnovo acquired legal and financial independence and it was transformed into a Limited liability company. The company became a joint-stock company (PLC) following the decision of 26.06.1997. At present it operates as a private company whose main shareholder is 'Severcoop Gamza Holding' PLC, Sofia.
