Vfm music and announcement services are similar to in-store 'radio' services that are already in operation, but our use of the 'SIAN' system rather than terrestrial or satellite broadcasting means that a considerably more flexible and totally bespoke service can be offered to each fascia, demographic, region, or even site, in an estate. It also allows us to offer totally bespoke stations at a lower cost than the equivalent satellite service; these are scaled to the size of the estate, avoiding the high fixed costs normally associated with in-store radio. Indeed revenue can be earned for the site from the sale of advertising airtime to suppliers and complementary products and services. This is in addition to incremental sales gained from on-air advertising.
