Susan:

To add a link to the Category:Napa Valley page follow these directions:

  • Go to the page of the site you want to add (aboutus.org/WineLover.com, for instance)
  • Enter the edit window and scroll down to the bottom where you'll notice a bunch of category tags
  • Add Category:Napa Valley to the list

Upon save, the page will be automatically added to the category listing!

Let me know if you need anything else.

c

Thanks

It looks to me all of the links are articles - I think I need to add an article. I don't want to add another catagory. Does this make sense? Thanks again for your help

Answer (?)

Susan:

I think I understand what you're getting at, and the system isn't completely intuitive here so I'll do my best to explain. Adding a category to a page doesn't create a new category (unless that category didn't previously exist), rather it adds that page automatically to the category page. Since Category:Napa Valley already exists, adding the category tag to your page will have the effect of including you in that category's listings. This automated nuance of our system allows for categories to grow without specific attention.

I've gone ahead and added Category:Napa Valley to your page to effect the desired change. Let me know if this clears up the issue.
