About Me

Studied journalism and marketing (MA Communications). Practised investor relations for more than 15 years, focused in hi-tech industries such as IT & telecommunications, healthcare, life sciences.

Worked previously for national government in various development related positions: Department of Information; responsible for corporate relations at commercial bank Santambank; liaison to members of the Chamber of Mines, and investor relations officer at investment banking group, Genbel Investments prior to launching own business, Southgro Investor Relations in 1994.

Added Rapid Technologies cc in 1997, a diagnostics businesses, focusing on the healthcare needs of southern Africa.

Founded Spindle Communications in 2010, a public relations and investor relations agency.

Building various social networks such as www.lifesparks.co.za and www.africancleantech.org to focus on technology intensive areas to improve access to technology in South Africa and stimulate cross-border investment and cooperation.
