I am an independent management consultant and project manager whose clients included the UK Government's Department of Health. For a long time I have been fascinated by the 'art of business'; the 'business of language', and the 'language of business' and how these three elements interact. A formative experience as young child was seeing the power of someone to move an audience when I saw a magician who really did produce a rabbit from a hat. I understood later, of course, that the key to this influence is preparation, practice and timing.

The best business presenters, like the best magicians, raise what they do above the ordinary by creating a fresh twist. I am therefore delighted to be working with Visual Exemplars Ltd to present the business graphics community with the Perspector add-in for PowerPoint. It's an exciting means to do something fresh and radical!
