Quinta das Acácias is located in the south coast of São Miguel within a 2 kilometer distance from oceanfront. In this area one will find Populo beach, which is known for its clear and warm waters.
The Quinta sits within the rural boundaries of the town of Livramento. It is approximately 8 kilometers to the city center of Ponta Delgada. The central positioning of the Quinta in the island offers our visitors the best strategic point to discover São Miguel.
Quinta das Acácias is a tourist accommodation facility with several cottages throughout the beautifully manicured gardens. What was once a rock quarry, today it boasts a magnificent garden filled with color and a multitude of trees, ranging from fruit bearing to several varieties of acácias.
Our facility is self-catering. Each cottage averages an area of 50 square meters. They are 1 bedroom units (double bed or two single beds), with kitchen (fully equipped) and living area. The units are designed to comfortably accommodate two adults, or small families up to two children utilizing the sofa bed or the day beds in the living area. Crib for baby can be provided upon request.
On the outdoors, each unit has its own space for lounging and relaxation, with table and chairs, lounger, and a traditional wood burning barbecue. At the Quinta, we encourage our guests to venture the grounds and experience the pleasurable moments that our little paradise has to offer.
