IMPORTANT NOTE: Please, whenever you go to a site put the domain through the AboutUs.org system because if that domain is not already contained within it's database of knowledge it will crawl the web and obtain the information and automatically create the file and add the discovered information about the site to it's database. Anyone can do this, this feature is not restricted to account holders. Those with privacy issues be aware it will not display your IP address if you add to it's knowledge database in this fasion. There is one major stipulation which can not be fix and this is noone's fault. It is the nature of the beast so to speak, subdomains can not be added by non-account holders and no information will automatically be created for such sites. Why? First off there can be many sub-domains with-in a domain that usually do not pertain to the master domain. So only serious(This is judged by registering/IP displaying tests.) users can add such content. And secondly one of the functions with-in AboutUs.org's crawler/spider is an whois lookup utility. This can not be done for sub-domains. The only information that would appear in an WhoIs for a sub-domain is information only pertaining to the master domain. It also seems to contain google type elements that allow it to display a preview for the site. This of course works on any domain/sub-domain but because of limitation in it's other data acquisition processes it abbandon's the acquisition of the data altogether. ERRRRRRRR. I know I said it can't be fixed but as my [INTEREST://] section states, I must say it could be filtered to only gather all the information it can for sub-domains ignoreing null inqueries. But this would be a lot of work and the system works beutifully as is.
