I am the co-founder of F.A.C.E.S. That stands for Family Assessment, Counseling & Education Services. We started this project in 1988 with our own vision and the support from friends in the community. In 1992 we incorporated as a non profit and have built an agency with 5 licensed therapists,25 pre-licensed therapists, 15 monitors and we help over 1500 families each year on a budget under $500,000. As you can see, we have a limited advertising budget and are constantly looking for ways to get the word out in the greater Los Angeles area. Our family services are geared to the single parent family. The agency is supported by 90% volunteerism to help the children, so the costs of help is very low for the family in crisis.
