Lubna was born in the US to Palestinian immigrants. She spent her formative years living and studying in the Middle East where she obtained her degree in computer engineering. Upon her return to the US, Lubna continued a career in online advertising. After several years, she started to experience chronic health issues that Western medicine could not cure. Her desire to heal her mind-body connection without the help of pharmaceuticals brought her to yoga. During this time, Lubna discovered the healing power of crystals.

Lubna is a certified Kundalini Yoga instructor as well as a Reiki practitioner and has studied numerology and astrology. Her spiritual name, Anantjeet - meaning eternally brave and victorious - describes her drive to overcome obstacles by choosing love over fear. Her vision for House of Shakti is to create healing jewelry using principles from Eastern philosophy, metaphysics, astrology, numerology and color therapy.
