Grouse & Label C.C. was formed in 2006 by a group of individuals who share a great passion for the game and who wished to see this transcend into a Club to play the game with the ethos of fair play and in the true spirit of the game.

The membership of the club is currently about 40 and we hope to increase this to about 60 by the start of the 2007 season. The members are from different age groups ranging from students to senior cricketers who share the ethos and passion of the founder members. The objectives adopted by the club are mainly as follows:

1. Enjoy and promote the game with the ethos of fair play in the true spirit of the game.
2. Promote social well being by involving families and children in the club activities.
3. Develop colts cricket in a safe environment.

Most of the members are from Esher, East Molesey, Walton, Woking, Bisley and Cobham areas and has been entered into the Berkshire Cricket League for 2007 which will be our debut season.

The Club has the full support of the Bisley Parish Council who have welcomed the opportunity to bring 'Cricket Back to Bisley' and we look forward to a long 'stay' and cooperation with the Parish Council.

The club hopes to increase its membership through the local community And has strong support base of several small and medium size business who have indicated their willingness to sponsor the club.
