Anna Mills, past president of Ohio Real Estate Investors (OREIA), and is 2 times past president of National Real Estate Investors Assn. (NaREIA), will be serving her eleventh term as local president of Toledo REIA. Anna has been a realtor with Century 21 in Ohio & Michigan for more than 30 years. Early in her career, she became a builder and an investor and started acquiring properties (no money down). She currently holds 9 professional real estate & contactors licenses including the skill trades of plumbing, heating, electrical contractor, lead paint supervisor & contractor. She serves as current chairman, and travels around the state helping local REIA’S implement the Ohio Professional Housing Provider (OPHP) designation and is one of the first graduates. Anna made sure the professional program went NATIONWIDE last year and is called NaPHP (National Professional Housing Provider) designation. Interests in (non)government and fairness to the housing provider, has made being active a MUST. Anna sat on the city’s task force for landlord registration, police powers, instant ticketing, and also 3 years on the lead paint task force. After serving many years on the board, as past president of National REIA, currently chairs their education committee, & has co-authored the ‘Landlord Tenant Handbook’. She also speaks and teaches landlord workshops for the local housing authority, local REIAs nationwide, area banks, and has spoken as far away as Australia & New Zealand through Lourdes College. Anna is past president of Toastmasters with an Advanced Toastmaster (CTM) Silver designation, has been a member of Women’s Council of Realtors (WCR), and Women’s Entrepreneurial Network (WEN). Century 21 has awarded Ms Mills the Ruby Award for pure volume in number of listing, sales and satisfied customers for 2003. For 2005, Century 21 awarded her for more than 1.7 million in listings & sales. Ms Mills also appears in ‘Who’s Who of American Women’, & was pictured on the front 2 pages of the Real Estate Section of a recent Toledo Blade newspaper, followed by a full spread in the Toledo FreePress.
