The Selection Criteria for Residency Directors to Offer Interviews to the IMG: The Factor of 8

USMLE Scores and number of attempts (Step 2 is more important than Step 1)
Insured pre-residency clinical experience and acculturation in the U.S.
U.S. healthcare activities since medical school graduation
U.S. letters of recommendation from U.S. practicing physicians, stating your hands-on clinical expereince and patient interaction
