Bass player / Composer
Born on August 29, 1983. He started his musical life at age 13 in Tlaxcala, his home state. Takes keyboard and piano lessons with private teachers. In 1998 comes to the city of Puebla, and one year later he joins the State Conservatory and then the Benemérita Universidad Autonoma de Puebla where he studies bass with Flavio Guzman.
He takes Private lessons in composition, harmony and bass with master teachers such as Agustin Bernal and Beto Jiménez. He attends to workshops and clinics with wellknown jazz musicians of the national scene. Along his studies, he ventures in all kinds of musical genres and bands in the city, including fusion groups, latin orchestras, rock bands, wedding bands, and so on.
In 2002 he joins the NEMESIS band, the same year he records his first album named NEMESIS and subsequently Dentro de Ti (2003). Participating with his own original music for the film Victory Outreach Tesoros de la Oscuridad (2004) and a theme for the short film Espejos (2005) both directed by David Brian. In 2007 he records the EP NEMESIS and presents the concert 3 Idolos Juntos (A tribute to John Lennon, Sting and Elton John) at the Teatro de la Ciudad de Puebla. Performs with Zelofan band.
Currently…
January: He records Paso a paso as a co-producer of poblano composer Lalo Lopez. He collaborates on the electric bass in two songs. February: Mixing and mastering the EP Kenya. March: Performances with Rockstalgia band. April: He joins Local 3 band, which accompanies Mary Morin at Time St Club. Octuber / November / December: Playing with Mary Morin and Kenya.
