Happy New Year to everyone! I would like to share an update with you concerning the restructuring process that the Board is diligently working on as we begin the new year.The restructured Board of Directors will include the following:
The new VP position – Education and Certification - encompasses all responsibilities and work previously handled by the VP Officials and VP Education. One model we are examining at this time would have two tracks inherent in the plan – one for Coaching and another for Judging with the VP coordinating the efforts of two administrators who would be responsible for the two tracks.
At the January Board meeting, we will further discuss this vice-presidency. We will also continue the process of creating the numerous committees that will function under each VP area. Some of these committees will include persons elected by their respective zones. Following that meeting, we will publish the details of the composition of the Nominating Committee for 2006, inform the zones of needed representatives to various committees and supply job descriptions for each Vice-presidency.
