Up From the Underground is a satirical news magazine for the horror literature community. There are a lot of inside jokes contained herein. Don't worry if you don't get it, The Dennis Miller Quotient is above a 9.5 for this site. So don't feel bad. But rest assured if you don't get the joke, the joke was still funny.
We make fun of everyone in this magazine including ourselves. You just won't know when we're making fun of ourselves. But rest assured, again, that we are.
Some Technical Aspects about this site
Some people are interested in how a site comes together and what someone uses in designing a site. Well I figure I would enlighten you as to what was used in developing this site. First off the site was coded using CSS 2.0 and XHTML 1.0 Transitional. Though I don't think I got all the bugs out for the XHTML I came pretty damn close. I learned the CSS and the XHTML in two books PROFESSIONAL CSS: CASCADING STYLE SHEETS FOR WEB DESIGN and CSS COOKBOOK.
