Unite For Sight was founded in Fall 2000 by Jennifer Staple when she was a sophomore college student at Yale University. For three years, Unite For Sight exclusively served the medically underserved population of New Haven, Connecticut. Unite For Sight had great success in New Haven and looked to bring proven public health strategies to the international community.
