- We have been busily preparing for the late summer / early autumn concert season and we have exciting things planned. First off on August 2nd a CD release for the debut Luyas CD at Sneaky Dee's. The Luyas features Pietro from Torngat, Jessie from SS Cardiacs and Stef the drummer from Bell Orchestre. Joining them that evening will be The Blankket (the solo project of Steve Kado), Huckleberry Friends and Katie Stelmanis. Then after that on Sunday August 12th we have a beautiful show at the Tranzac with Casey Mecija (of Ohbijou), One Hundred Dollars (Ian of Jon-Rae and the River and Simone) and Chris Yang (of Burnt Oak Records). Then we have September. September will feature the CD release for Torngat at the Music Gallery with Timber Timbre and Double Suicide (Sandro Perri and Ryan Driver). We close up the month with a show featuring the Toronto return of our western friends Geoff Berner and Carolyn Mark at the Tranzac.
