You can find them all over the world-almost-wherever you go. In the big cities of America, in the remote jungle of Papua New Guinea; even in the busy streets and alleys of Calcutta. There are not very many of them-only about thirteen million worldwide, per the last count--but do they make an impact!
People say they are a peculiar people. They advocate the principles of healthful living. They practice self restraint in daily living and balanced approach to the pursuit of life and happiness. They encourage modesty, hard work and discipline. Most importantly, they emphasize man's personal accountability to God the Creator and care of fellow human being.
Some people label them pessimists. They preach of impending doomsday. Of declining economy and security, degrading moral values and inter-personal tolerance; the unraveling fabric of social and community life. Of man's increasing personal ambition for power and unquenchable appetite for wealth. And of nations all out race for supremacy and control. Yes, of the age of selfishness.
