Every now and then I’ll read a book that I really, really like. Some books that come to mind are Ender’s Game, The Alchemist, Dune, and Killer Angels. I would now consider the Kite Runner to be among that group. It may not top my list of favorites, but it is a book that I would highly recommend. One of the things that I really liked about the book is how events earlier in the book become relevant later in surprising ways. This makes sense because I suppose the theme is how your past shapes who you are and eventually comes back to you. Read it.
