- The UBC Debating Society is a constituted student club of the Alma Mater Society of the University of British Columbia. The club is also a varsity athletics team with support from athletics and recreation. We run a competitive debate program, with regular training and in-house competition, and we attend tournaments across the country and internationally. We also bring debate to campus through our workshop program, Debate 101, and our show debates.
