Description
Carrie Ann & Lesley are identical twin sisters. They are mirror twins, which means that Carrie Ann is right-handed and Lesley is left-handed, having mirrored in their development. They grew up in Michigan as the youngest of five children.
Growing up, their mother cut their hair differently so that other people could tell them apart. Lesley had short hair and Carrie had long hair. When people asked which one was which, they would always say, "Lesley has less hair." They believed that not forcing them to dress or look exactly alike allowed them to develop as individuals yet still love being twins.
They separated for four years, attending different, rival colleges. There, they experienced what it was like to be true singletons. The hardest thing was learning how to tell stories using "I" instead of the twin "we."
