The Kosloff Group was founded in 2002 by Shawn Kosloff. Previously, Mr. Kosloff had spent 17 years in the hospitality industry serving as Controller and General Manager for Holiday Inn, Hilton, and Marriott hotels. During his tenure in the hotel industry, Mr. Kosloff became well-known in the hospitality industry for developing spreadsheet and software applications that analyzed productivity, cost controls, room night and revenue forecasting, market analysis, and revenue management. His hotels consistently ranked among the top U.S. performing properties for both customer service, revpar growth, room night and revenue market share, and growth in profitability.
While it was a tough decision to leave the hotel management, forming The Kosloff Group allowed Shawn to spend more time with his new wife and move closer to his family on Hilton Head Island. Of course, moving to Hilton Head meant one more important item - plenty of golf!
It hasn't been a complete departure from the hotel industry. The company still provides hotel revenue management consulting for A.G. Hospitality. Although there are no current plans to expand our role in hotel revenue management consulting, we may consider consulting or managing a small portfolio under the right set of circumstances.
