To provide a system of networking for resource sharing, information sharing, and to foster creativity in the theatrical arts throughout New Mexico.
To provide an optimum learning experience through festival participation at the state level, thereby nurturing participating community and educational groups as they strive toward excellence in theatrical production.
(formerly New Mexico Theatre Association) has been serving as an advocacy group for the arts since the 1970’s. It is a member of Southwest Theatre and Film Association and the American Association of Community Theatre, and through these groups, has participated in the AACT/FEST. (See “Handbook of AACT/FEST”)
