Scott Schuman has spent his entire career in fashion and retail. He always felt there was a huge disconnect between the industry's notion of style and what people actually wore -- and looked great in! -- on the street.
He started photographing people he encountered who exemplified great style, and displayed the photos on his blog. Now The Sartorialist is a phenomenon, and Scott has a book that's selling on Amazon, a regular column in GQ magazine, and a following both inside and outside the fashion industry.
