- The Farewell Reason started to play in summer 2001 after their former band Implicite (melodic punkrock) split-up. Igor, Franjo and Boris wanted to start something new, something completely different. They were inspired by the hardcore bands from the early nineties, so they wanted to start a band with different name, a different style, they wanted to express their selves, their thoughts, feelings, emotions… After a couple of months of playing they decided they want to play their first show so they needed a name for the band. The Farewell Reason was born. They played their first show with Nikad and Apfuken on 19th of October 2001 in legendary "Pub" in their home town Čakovec, Croatia.
