Midwest Electrical Testing and Maintenance Co., Inc. was incorporated in 1977. MIDWEST, as it is now called, was established to bring together in one company the special engineering resources of an electric utility, electrical contractor, and electrical consultant and apply them to Field Services, maintaining, testing, and repairing electrical power equipment and switchgear. From these early beginnings with three people, MIDWEST outgrew two facilities and in 1987 purchased an 8000 square foot Service Shop. With eight people, MIDWEST continued to focus on Field Engineering, Testing, Maintenance and Shop Services.
