Welcome! Car-Safety.Org is a not-for-profit, volunteer based organization, operated in conjunction with the DuPage County SAFE KIDS Chapter (Illinois). We strive to provide other parents with correct and up-to-date information on the selection and safe installation of child safety restraints, including carseats, as well as vehicle safety. Our site currently includes buying guides and information for vehicles and car seats, an expansive carseat FAQ, a discussion forum on child passenger safety issues, a list of car seat inspection stations and events for Illinois and extensive links to other websites on injury prevention and vehicle safety related topics.
The Car-Safety.Org™ and Car-Seat.Org™ websites began in April, 2001, and currently get 1,000,000 hits from over 25,000 unique visitors to our websites every month. Our website and forums are reviewed and moderated by certified child passenger safety technicians, instructors and advocates. To reach more parents about this important topic, we appreciate your referrals to friends and links to Car-Safety.Org from your website.
