Your hard work made the 2006 Rolex Regatta a great event. You should take great satisfaction in its success. I hope you also had some fun and met, worked with, and made some new friends in the bargain. I am very sorry that I will not be able to join you at the Volunteer Celebration Party at Skinny Beach this weekend. I am in the States to take care of a much delayed minor medical matter. Trust me, I would much rather be in warm St. Thomas than up here in the cold Northeast.

I encourage all of you who did not participate this year to volunteer next year and join in the camaraderie, work, fun, and, not least, the volunteer party. I look forward to reviewing the comments and wrap of notes of this year’s Rolex, both good and not so good, and to integrating them into a new organizational structure for Rolex 2007.

We have had such a high rate of interest in the Club Summer Camp that I have decided to put out an enrollment form early this year so we can better gauge our counselor and junior counselor needs and you will be able to guarantee space for your children in the camp the weeks you want them to attend.
