Description
- I'm working as a scientific researcher at various institutions, especially on the exchange of knowledge, skills and culture that lead to an Integrated Information Society (as addressed in the WSIS Plan of Action or the European i2010 Programme). Therefore, I also was member of the Austrian delegation to the World Summit on the Information Society (WSIS) in Geneva 2003. Just recently, I received a full fellowship for the Tokyo Ubiquitous Network Conference in May 2005.
Thesis: "Digital Divide or Digital Opportunity?" : Internet-Competence as a core criteria for self-determination, competition, and employment in international comparison (2001, in German language)
