Description
St. John Lutheran Church is located in Rochester, Indiana, USA. Rochester is a small town in north-central Indiana between South Bend and Indianapolis on Highway 31 (some 45 minutes south of South Bend). St. John is located at the southwest corner of 4th & Jefferson Streets.
We believe that “...God so loved the world that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send His Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through Him” (John 3:16-17 NIV).
“For it is by grace you have been saved, through faith—and this not from yourselves, it is the gift of God—not by works, so that no one can boast. For we are God's workmanship, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do” (Ephesians 2:8-10).
