The Anchorage Inn, now a cozy B. and B. was a historic hiking hostel that sits by the Pacific Ocean in the small resort village of Stinson Beach, an area of sun, sand and sea with a pleasant mediterranean climate which offers swimming, surfing, hangliding, horseback riding, hiking, bird, seal and wildlife watching along with kayaking in our wildlife preserve tidal lagoon and all of this is surrounded by recreational and public park lands which include Pt. Reyes national Sea Shore, Mt. Tamalpail State Park and Muir Woods National Monument or enjoy barbecued oysters on the patios of our excellent restaurants and browse aour antique shops and art galleries.
