Spriteworks Developments

Description

We began our entry into the software market with the introduction of a comprehensive sprite/graphics package called Spriteworks v1.0. This package was specifically created to answer the needs of game developers who wanted the freedom of being able to spend more time concentrating on code and less time having to design graphical elements for their games. Nothing could prepare us for the wave of emails that began pouring in with customers telling us how difficult it was to create or even locate sprites (particularly original or royalty-free ones) and how it was nice to finally have a large sprite library that could be used royalty-free in their games and applications.

A few months later, we released a second product called Icon Bank. This program was an extensive icon library that came equipped with it's own web-based GUI, installer and several thousand icons. After approximately one month and requests for various features, several thousand more icons were added and the GUI was improved. Other features were also added. Several months were spent adding every conceivable feature to Icon Bank, adding support for external plugins and "skins", the ability to import and more. Several thousand more icons and new categories were also added at this time. We also released a Web Edition for those who wished to use Icon Bank for decorating their web pages. The current version of Icon Bank is v4.0 and It comes in two flavors (Desktop and Web editions).

The next product to be released was Hypertext Guide v1.0. This easy-to-use HTML tutorial is fully-illustrated and comes loaded with hundreds of copy & paste examples, 100 ready-to-use activeX controls, 24 DHTML page transitions, full CSS attribute/selector/property/pseudo-class reference, lots of DHTML image filters and more.
