Founded by Monica Seide, Speakeasy PR coordinates the press activities and public persona of both established and up and coming talent in the world of music, dvd, art, film and the internet.
Monica Seide began her career at Warner Bros. Records, running numerous publicity campaigns from Static-X to Mr. Bungle, Ministry to Royal Crown Revue, Failure to Gus Gus. In 2000 she joined boutique label, Nettwerk America; setting up and heading the publicity department for the fledgling U.S. office. During her tenure, she spearheaded press campaigns for an enourmous range of artists and genres: from Coldplay to Ron Sexsmith, Sense Field to the Maybe This Christmas series, from The Be Good Tanyas to Old Crow Medicine Show, from Delirium to BT to Tiesto, from Neil Finn both solo and alongside his brother Tim as The Finn Brothers to the NY trio Ivy, from the For The Kids charity recordings to Canuck favorites, The Barenaked Ladies.
