Paul Pease has been selected as the co-author with racing legend Bobby Unser of the forthcoming (Wiley, Spring '03) Winners Are Driven. He is the author of two previous books, Building a Small Blue Chip Business (1996, 2nd edition reprint 1998) and Words to Action: Building a Leadership Legacy (2001). In his books Pease delivers a written message that drives home winning points to the reader. He has also written over twenty articles for national publications.
A keynote speaker, Pease has developed a successful business consulting and sales training program that emphasizes revenue growth. Pease delivers results for clients that provide a long-term pay back. Clients include: Blue Shield of California, Rockwell Automation, Yaskawa Electric America, Journal Communications, Orthocad, Emerson Electric, Walters Wholesale Electric, Western Automation, and Hyatt Hotels. He is an on-line instructor for the UCLA Business Extension, teaching Market Plan Development and Case Studies in Entrepreneurship
A 1977 graduate from Purdue University with a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering, Pease transitioned from engineering to sales as a manufacturers representative in 1979. He sold and managed over $75 million in automated motor control projects. Included projects were: motor drive systems for electric vehicles; manufacturing aircraft such as the FA-18, C-17, and MD-80; machining the solid rocket boosters for the Space Shuttle; reducing electric power consumption in large buildings; and automating oil field production.
