- Edna (Gonzales) Posada was born in Brownsville, TX. She took the opportunity to go into business in 1989 and formed a corporation, Aldani, Inc., to purchase a small retail cosmetic store in McAllen, TX. Today Aldani, Inc. owns four Merle Norman Cosmetic Studios and three Spa LaPosada locations offering a broad range of spa services and cosmetic products to customers throughout the Rio Grande Valley and provides employment to 45 women. Edna is its president, and remains its sole owner.
