Personal Information: My name is Brett Stoneberger (AKA: Stoney) and I own and operate Pine Ridge Technology. I make my home in the Pine Ridge area, but work all over the Oglala Lakota Nation and in parts of the Nebraska Panhandle. My primary means of employment is the Junior ROTC Sergeant Major at Pine Ridge High School.
Background: I was born in Deadwood, S.D. and raised in Lead most of my life. I moved to Spearfish, S.D. during my last few years of high school and remained there until I joined the Army in 1980. I am a retired U.S. Army Infantry Sergeant Major who teaches Junior ROTC and has turned part-time web developer. I have a strong desire to assist as many folks as possible with web solutions or other technology support. I have nearly 16 years of computer experience and have been involved in web design since 1997. I have participated in dozens of web design projects and have managed several other web sites. I am also the published author of the Combat Leader's Field Guide , © 2000 and © 2004, Stackpole Books. On request, I can submit a resume.
Company Inception: Pine Ridge Technology was born out of an idea that people from this part of the country (Pine Ridge and the Nebraska Panhandle) should be helping each other with their web presence, technical support, and other connectivity issues. When I ask some companies if they have a web site and they respond with" Yes I do, I have a great team out of California or Florida assisting us with our web presence." Don't get me wrong, it's fine to get assistance from outside the state; it would just be nice if more of us could help each other and that way we can keep technical support costs to a minimum.
