- We at Solent Rescue Lifeboat are an independent organisation (i.e. not part of RNLI) with a crew of the highest calibre with excellent levels of camaraderie & motivation. Based at Lepe Country Park, Exbury, Hampshire, we were established in 1971 initially as a beach rescue unit operated by auxiliary coastguards.
