Background

from a message to G User_talk:Kasey

Thx Kasey for your warm feedback on HoofSmith: SocialNlp, MutualMotivation

Thank you Kasey for giving additional motivation energy on the G HoofSmith meme. We are preparing a proposal for a seminar in the German VHS framework with a work title, that could be

The idea behind it, is as follows: more ..G SocialNlp We all, you and me, and all the people around us, have the competence to give each other motivational help to do things, that increase our quality of life. "All we need is love", knowledge, skills and time to make us efficient. We, a team teaching team, are three persons, a Dipl. MentalTrainer, a YogaTeacher and myself in the rôle of an engaged wikizen with a background in (theoretical) Computer science, Music and other goodies. Now we are preparing a proposal, that is intended to create a seminar-initiated network of people, who can learn the skills and get encouraged to help each other in (not only) critical situations to encourage themselves and other peers. The seminar has two components, an offline and an online part. So far so good. Now the critical point: We are not yet living in an abundant society, where everything we need, doesn't cost anything. So our idea is, to encourage people to offer straight from the beginning their time/work/skills as paid service. Step one: we offer this service to each other as a training tool with a paid Skype-service, such that, if A offers this service to B , then B offers this service to A, so that both can learn from each other and don't have to pay anything at last to each other. These SocialHelpers make it transparent, that they just are learning "the ropes" and offer their service without the magic of a Phd or some other title. All the same, they offer it as a paid service. Their knowledge comes from a common knowledge pool of the commons and they contribute themselves their experiences as e.g. videos to the commons. We are looking for similar initiatives and wikis, where the integration of knowledge production and an income model is welcome. Currently most wiki communities (not AboutUs.org !) appear to be infected by the G StayPoor, G StayPoor+Meme. What do you think about it? fridemar 11:32, 9 November 2007 (PST)
