So, where did the SNDI come from? SNDI Computers, Inc. was originally System and Network Designs, Inc., founded in 1991 by our president, Howard Hampson. The company (System and Network Designs, Inc.) performed network analysis and design for corporate and government clients. It doesn't take the government long to make an acronym out of a name, and we became know just as SNDI.
Clients started requesting the the company build the computers for their networks and SNDI accommodated them. In a short time, individuals began requesting the same.
In 1996, System and Network Designs, Inc. moved to Frederick, Maryland and opened a storefront, doing business as SNDI Computers. We've been there serving the Maryland, Pennsylvania, Virginia and West Virginia area ever since. The Frederick business later incorporated as SNDI Computers, Inc.
