In the show, a lost "slap bet" and penalty resulted in the character Barney choosing to be slapped by Marshall 5 times at any time in the future (instead of 10 times right then.) For one of the slaps Marshall played with Barney's head by creating a website that would count down the days, minutes and seconds until the next slap.
