Description
SimVision is a fan community dedicated to the sharing of information, creations, downloads, hacks, and resources for not only SimCity 4/Rush Hour but The Sims, RCT and other popular simulation strategy games as well.
It started in early 2004 with BarbulaM1, heathis, and hello_SC4 among its webmasters, after an initial merging of several smaller sites to produce the name "SimVision". In June, SimVision merged with huskerman007's SimcityHighway. The name remained "SimVision" because that was where the domain was, but SimcityHighway contributed almost 600 members to this new community.
Even as the site now had a domain, the game SimCity itself was in its third year and far beyond the average game's lifespan. Unsurprisingly, activity tapered off during the fourth quarter of 2004.
