Our Company
Shasta Recreation Company began operations in 1994 as Special Use Permit holder for the Shasta Trinity National Recreation Area, Shasta Lake Unit. Shasta Recreation Company is owned by California Guest Services, Inc.
The California Parks Companies (dba for California Guest Services, Inc., Urban Park Concessionaires and The Picnic People, Inc.) began concession operations in 1975 and has had broad experience in providing hospitality services in outdoor recreation areas. The company has current concession operations (including Shasta Recreation Company operation of campgrounds and related facilities for the USDA Forest Service) with the National Park Service, California State Parks, the East Bay Regional Park District, East Bay Municipal Utilities District, Contra Costa Water District, Metropolitan Water District of Southern California and Turtle Bay Exploration Park.

Shasta Recreation Company is a specialized embodiment of the purpose, vision and core values of the partner companies providing service to the public and care for the land assigned to it by the Special Use Permit and guided by the Operating Plan developed with full counsel and direction of the Shasta Trinity National Recreation Area, Shasta Lake Unit management and staff. SRC supports the vision, mission and core values of the USDA Forest Service.
