M.S.F.T.R. - CCC Registered U.K. plus Certificates in the following Diploma's in Rogerian Therapy, Behaviour Therapy, Hypnosis, Systemic Family Therapy, Journalling, Management Studies, Client Centred, Gestalt, Systemic Family Therapy, plus individual and group psych o therapy related courses covering the various models of therapy held in London England and other Countries.

I have worked over a number of years extensively with both pre and post op SRS transgender clients/patients in a clinical setting. It was during this period that I decided to specialise in Gender and Sexual Identity Issues and have since developed a deep interest and understanding of the relevant i ssues and became increasingly aware of the needs and adverse difficulties faced by the transgendered individual.

I commenced my professional career within the 'caring profession' in the U.K. from 1972 through to 1991. Initially in 'Child Care Assessment Teams then after gaining a Diploma in Social Work and Certificate of Qualification in Social Work I transferred to a local authority Children and Families Division taking up the position as a Children and Families social worker as a Child Protection Social worker. I later also under took Mental Health specialist training as an Approved Social Worker responsible for carrying out Mental Heath Assessments in the community under the then, Mental Health Act 1983.I later was appointed to the position of Child Protection Manager within local a area social work office and later within a hospital settings with a number of Local Authority Social Service Departments in London. I have also undertaken work as an Aids HIV worker and undertaken court assessments as an Adoption Reporting Officer.
