In 1989 concerned Mirror Lake residents and Wright devotees formed a non-profit organization to save and restore the Cottage as Wright envisioned it, and to give it a new and useful life. The award-winning three-year $300,000 restoration project is now complete. The mission of the Seth Peterson Cottage Conservancy is to continue preservation efforts as well as provide wide opportunities to experience the unique architectural concepts of Frank Lloyd Wright in this intimate setting. Conservancy membership is open to all. Members receive the Conservancy newsletter, discounts on Cottage merchandise such as note cards and T-shirts; and free admission to the monthly open house. Best of all, you know you are an active participant in preserving a truly unique and historic national landmark.
