- The year 2004 marks the fifth year of the Filmmakers Alliance Writers Division and the Screenplay Workshops series led by Frank Chindamo. So how have the workshopped scripts fared? Dozens of short scripts and eleven features workshopped there have gone on to become completed films. And those films have screened at Gen Art, Los Angeles Film Festival, at the Egyptian Theater; they’ve been nominated for a PRISM award, for Best Picture at the Latin Media Awards, and one director whose feature went through the Filmmakers Alliance Writers Division, Gabriella Tagliavini, recently directed features for Disney and VH1.
